| Since 2009, employee labor relations and legitimate rights and interests are caused extensive attention, by the events of Honda Auto Parts Factory workers strike lasted 20 days, and the 12 jumping cases occurred in Foxconn. How to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the labors is caused extensive discussion. Hostile forces took the opportunity to infiltrate and differentiate the workforce and trade union organizations, by the so-called "rights". In some places there even emerged illegitimate organizations, which are outside the party's lead.Non-public enterprises, as an important force in China's economic construction, absorb a lot of labor. As the coordination mechanism of labor relations is not perfect, non-public enterprises labor disputes occurred constantly, and became increasingly complexity, which thus is developing the "cancer" impacted social stability. In order to resolve the above problems, the government initiatives enterprises to establish trade unions, to build their own way to solve their internal contradictions. Meanwhile, the trade unions will help to build harmonious labor relations. Then maintain the social stability and help to build a harmonious society. Therefore, at present, strengthening the formation of trade unions, particularly in non-public enterprises, is very necessary and important.Based on the above background, the author went to some non-public enterprises in the Pearl River Delta area, to survey the nature of the trade unions. Then the author proposed this paper's proposition, which is "the employees'cultural value orientation in Non-public enterprises affect the formation of trade unions". Learning from the cultural theory, proposed by the Dutch scholar Hofstede, the author establishes a research model and propose hypotheses. The cultural theory compose five parts, which are Uncertainty Avoidance, Individualism and Collectivism, Long Term and Short Term, Power Distance, Masculinity and Femininity.In this paper, the study method is the Empirical Research Method. Data are collected through questionnaires. Then analyze the data by SPSS 16.0, with the correlation analysis, the regression analysis and the variance analysis. The result is that:the employees' cultural value orientation in Non-public enterprises significantly affects the formation of trade unions. Among them, the Uncertainty Avoidance, the Collectivism, the Long Term and the Power Distance, are appeared a linear relationship with the trade unions. The control variables, such as the gender, political affiliation, education, position of workers and the number of employees of the non-public enterprise, do not influence the establish significantly. While only the age of the on-public enterprises is the influence factor. Based on these conclusions, the paper presents a number of recommendations for the formation of trade unions in non-public enterprises. |
