The protection of women's rights in rural areas is the fundamental problems to build a harmonious society. Since the founding of new China, the status of rural women in China have been significantly improved and with the marked improvement in living conditions. But the social pressure of rural women is still very serious and they still is in a low-status. Because the concept of gender equality is still a conservative, their is discrimination against rural women and their rights or even widespread. Especially in cases of divorce proceedings, women's legal rights have been infringed is more obvious, which led to a variety of discordant social problems.This paper selects Chaoshan rural women as research subjects. It access to basic judicial archives of the court and analysis of typical cases and parties to divorce proceedings interview. The paper research the status of interests about rural women and from the property rights of divorced women,human rights protection to analysis of the problems of women's rights protection. That the feudal is more serious in Chaoshan area and the preference for sons is very widespread. The rights of divorced women was not protected well, it's mainly due to the influence of traditional ideas, the difficulties of proof, women's lack of capacity lawsuit and the lack of clear criteria. On this basis, it provide the countermeasures and suggestions for the relevant departments. That should now be adopted is to improve relevant laws, reform the evidence system, action to improve women's ability.We can strengthen efforts to protect the interests for the divorced women in rural areas. And to promote the development of gender equality,it accelerate the pace of building a socialist harmonious countryside.
