Research On The New-type Peasants Cultivating In Knowldege Economy

Knowledge economy era is regarded as a period in which knowledge economy is the dominant factor and of great strategic importance in the social economy development. Personal development should be subject to the requirement of new times. In the 21st century, knowledge and knowledge-based workers will become the core factors of production, and the talents will become the primary resource in the knowledge economy system. At present, China is in an important period of transition, from traditional economy to knowledge economy; and the most critical is the transition of rural economic. As the most important resources in the development of rural economy, in order to adapt to the development of the times, Peasants have to grow from traditional Peasants to new type Peasants. But now the moral quality, educational level, technology literacy, physical constitution and development ability of Chinese Peasants are far away from the demand of the times, so it's deserved further discussion and research in both theoretical and practical level.The main content of this paper included several aspects as follows:First, this paper made the definition of Peasant, new Peasant and cultivation of new Peasant more clearly with the help of the review about the studies on the new type Peasants in theory and practice. Then, through the analysis of the concept and characteristic of knowledge economy, this paper summarized the challenges and opportunities Chinese Peasants faced under the condition of knowledge economy. Second, Building Evaluation index system of new type peasants, in order to dialyze the profound meaning of new type Peasants. Third, this paper analyzed the current situation of Peasants'quality from the aspects of cultural knowledge, technology standard, physical constitution, morality level, legal consciousness and psychological quality; and concluded the achievements and problems of cultivation of Chinese farmers from the training history and ways, then analyzed the main factors which had influences on the cultivation of Chinese new type Peasants. Fourth, this paper not only analyzed the standards and characterizations of new farmers in the perspective of knowledge economy based according to the connotation and features of the knowledge economy, but also summed up the basic framework of nurturing new farmers. Fourth, based on the basic theories of human resources development and investment, this paper gave some suggestions to the cultivation of new type Peasants from inner drive, external intervention and scientific implementation. The purposes are providing some references for nurturing of Chinese new type Peasants under new conditions, promoting the new countryside construction in China and improving the comprehensive competitiveness of China in the knowledge society.
