| The history of human being's development is the history of pursuing freedom. Freedom is the inherent nature and eternal pursuit of human beings. Basing on historical materialism, Marx founded the scientific view of freedom, achieved the great revolution in freedom and constantly lead the proletariat and the working people struggling for human freedom. This article attempts to discuss the main topic from three aspects as follows:the theoretical origin, the historical formation and systematic exposition of Marx's view of freedom.First of all, this paper traces some important thoughts about freedom from western philosophy in the first chapter, reviews five significant periods when the thoughts of freedom-the myth period, the ancient Greek and Roman period, the evolution of medieval Christian theology period, the modern philosophy period and the German classical philosophy period. Among them, the ancient Greek and Roman period and the German classical philosophy period are the key parts of writing.The tracing about the thoughts of freedom before Marx has basic meaning to our comprehension about the process of this concept.In the second chapter, this paper basing on texts, focuses on the study of the historical formation of Marx's view of freedom. The process will be divided into four phases as follows: germination, reality turning, establishing and maturing. This part is the core and key point of this article. We starts to seeking for the original spirit of Marx's view of freedom.After comprehensive understanding of the development process of the Marx's view of freedom, this paper tries to expound systematically on the topic. In the third chapter, this paper shows us the picture of freedom from three aspects:the connotation, dimensions and achievement of freedom. As a conscious, for-itself and independent condition, freedom can be understood from three dimensions:nature, society and human being. The achievement of freedom bases on practice and directly related with the growth of free time and the discarding of alienation.And Freedom manifests as the coming of the realm of freedom ultimately. |
