Keep Pace With Time: Theory Character Of Marxism With Chinese Style

Marxism is characteristic of the theoretical quality of pacing with time,which was presented by Jiang Zemin on the conference for the 80th yearcelebration of the Chinese communist party. Combining the process andresults of the Chinese-styled Marxism, theoretical quality of Chinese-styledMarxism was further studied in the paper from the respects of"the theoryand practice of keeping pace with time for Marx and Engels"and"thehistorical process of keeping pace with time for the Chinese-styledMarxism", for the purpose of proving that the Chinese-styled Marxism hadthe character of keeping pace with time. During the research three kinds ofapproaches were introduced which were exactly"combining history andlogic","general to particular","concrete to abstract and abstract toconcrete". The thesis that the Chinese-styled Marxism is characteristic ofkeeping pace with time was studied in this paper, based on thesummarization of research status of Chinese-styled Marxism. The mainresearch contents were as follows: theory and practice relating to keepingpace with time of Marx and Engels; establishment of new democracyrevolution theory by the first generation central leading collective ofChinese communist party that took Mao Zedong as the center on the baseof the standing of national conditions in modern China; based on theunderstanding of current national situation of China, the theory of buildingsocialism with Chinese characteristics was established by DENG Xiao-pingafter 1970s; and after entering the new century, the important ideology of"three representatives"and scientific development concept were introducedby Chinese communist party to guide the socialism with Chinesecharacteristics. The results showed that the developing history of Marxismof Chinese style was the history of keeping pace with time. The reason thatthe theoretical system of Marxism with Chinese style was unfailing wasthat Marxism was characteristic of keeping pace with time. Only throughassociating the Marxism with our own national situation, could thedevelopment with time be obtained. The research on the thesis that Marxism is of the characteristic of keeping pace with time was of greattheoretical and practical significance to the belief consolidation of Marxismand strengthening and improving of various tasks of Chinese communistparty.
