An Appraisal On The National Safety Under The Feminism

With the acceleration of the globalization process and the promotion of the integrity of international relationship and the relevance of national security, security issues are placed in an important position of theoretical studies. However, in the traditional security theory of international politics, it lacks of the security of women, and does not put women's knowledge and experience into the study of security theory, so that makes women in an unsafe status. The thesis picks out a new perspective of feminism. On the one hand, it states women'marginalized status in the traditional theory of national security and a variety of realistic threat they faced. On the other hand, it starts from the feminist perspective, builds the feminist concept of national security, and infuses the female elements into the theory of national security. The thesis is divided into five parts, as follows:The paper starts from the perspective of feminism, combines feminism and security to study the theory of national security. The first part makes a basic statement on feminism and illustrates the relationship between feminism and feminist. It analyzes the cognition of feminism of feminists, the schools existing in the feminist theory, and summarizes the importance of social gender as analyzing category in the theoretical research of feminism.The second part is the criticism of traditional concept of national security from feminist. Through the analysis of the connotation of security and national security, it illustrates that security has always been the key point in the theoretical studies of international politics, especially the issue of national security. National security focuses the key points of theoretical research on the political, military, and diplomatic Fields, and in the process of research, it focus on the male-oriented knowledge and experience, regardless of the experience of women and the factors of social gender on the impact of national security, women is completely ruled out of the theoretical research of national security. Against such a reality, Feminists demonstrates the theoretical flaw of the traditional concept of national security.The third part is the key point of the thesis, including two levels: one is the preliminary exploration of the security concept of feminist, mainly introduces the cognition of the traditional theory of national security from feminist and the various struggles for the early women'organizations around the world .The other is the main content of the feminist concept of national security. It mainly illustrates the principle of modern concept of national security from feminist, the basic ideas of the feminist concept of the national security, and the new development of feminist concept of national security.From the awareness of gender, economic field and political field, the thesis analyzes the principle of feminist concept of national security, and how feminists treat the starting point of the concept of national security.At the basic principles, it studies from the perspective of women, to study how women treat the issues of the war and peace, diplomatic decision- making, cultural field and environmental aspect, and to raise human security as the important part of non-traditional security with having receives wider concern. On the basis of studying human security, it proposes the concept of human security of women. Human security provides theoretical space for the analysis of security issues of women under the frame work of international politics.The fourth part is evaluation of feminist concept of national security. From the study content of feminist concept of national security, and the female perspective, it starts from the feminist concept of national security playing a guiding role in the construction of the theory of international politics. It confirms the active role of feminist concept of national security in the theory of international politics, and proposes the developmental prospects of feminist concept of national security. On the other hand, it proposes that this theory faces some reality issues itself that need improving.The last part is the conclusion. Feminist concept of national security studies at the preliminary exploration stage. In the process of practice, it can be regarded as the theoretical basis of the status of women in the national security; however, it also requires a long process whether it solves various forms of insecurity suffered in the fields of international politics.
