Mao Zedong's Early Thoughts Of Economic Construction

During the new-democratic period and the early era of socialist construction, Mao Zedong had been exploring China's economic construction and had made a series of important achievements in theory, among which the most typical ones are the economic theories in the eras of Soviet Republic of China and the New China. In the proeess of exploring, Mao Zedong had made tremendous of achievments, and had also made some mistakes. However, both his successful and failed experience have very important significance to our current economic construction, and also are rare wealth to us. Researching the process of Mao Zedong's exploration and studying his spirit of innovation, keeps pace with the times, can make China's current economic construction go more smoothly.Lots of Mao Zedong's economic construction thought was started from Soviet republic period, which were successfully applied to the New China's construction period and different difficulties of different periods hadn't let this great man retreat, on the contrary, he explored from dilemma a relatively successful economic construction way. This paper will be detailed resurgence the Soviet republic period and early New China's period of their economic construction, the political, military, economic, social background and Mao Zedong's adopted measures, research the cause of economic policies and the reasons of their changes, explore of the two stages of succession characteristics of two stages of economic construction, and draw experiences and lessons from economic thoughts of Mao Zedong's revelation.This paper is based on the theory of historical materialism,Comparison method, the theory of integrate theory with practice, etc. In longitudinal and transverse comparison research historical events. Part 1 and Part 2 of this paper illustrates the historical conditions, the main process of economic policies and the effects of those policies, tries to expound Mao Zedong thought of economic construction; Part 3 analyzes the cause of different emphasis on the economic construction between the two phases, mainly from the changes of revolutionary situation, the differences of economic construction background, the alteration of economic central task, and the change of Mao Zedong's leadership in different period; Part 4 carries on the inherited analysis, put some specific economic policy of the two periods into comparative study, finds its six aspects of inheritance, which is the main innovation this paper lies in. According to the actual situation of economic construction, the last part pacified the thoughts of Mao Zedong's economic construction of practical significance in three aspects.
