Economic Moral Education Of Market Economy With Socialist Characristics

Under the circumstances of economic globalization, China is under development and undergoing a transition.Its emphasis is put on eyeball economy, on economic efficiency and on the GDP.The majority of people regard money and interest as the final goal in their lifetime.They even pay more attention to money than their lives,so"time is life"is changed into"time is money"and"efficiency is life".Economic life is buried in a serious and down-to-earth moral crisis, and people feel as if they are sliding into a bottomless abyss, a moral black hole.Meanwhile the moral education deviates from people's economic life, which has not only engendered the moral education's lagging behind in term of the market requirements, but also constrained on the important role which the moral education should have played in the construction of socialist market economy.Thus, in this construction, it is necessary for the main body of the market economy to be regulated and exerted on economic moral education.This thesis firstly states the necessity of economic moral education, which is explained in the following two aspects:one, to point out the fact that moral education has divorced from the reality; the other, to present several kinds of moral crises such as ecological crises,integrity crisis,utilitarian moral crisis of faith in market economic activities.Then the thesis examines the basic content of economic moral education as follows:to remember to make some contributions to the public in the pursuit of personal or corporate profits; fair competition; to help the poor so as to eliminate their poverty; mutually beneficial cooperation; to achieve a unification of gains with moral principles and norms.Finally, from the perspectives of pedagogy and psychology, it explores ways and methods to provide practical guidance to economic moral education.
