After China's entry to WTO, China has undertaken to eliminate the business and geographical restrictions of foreign-founded banks in five years, which means the foreign-founded banks are grounded to enter completely the Chinese market. Now our financial market is gradually opening to the foreign-founded banks, and by their own advantage ,they have competed fiercely with the stated-owned commercial banks in so many aspects. In the text, the author introduce the prosperity and decline of the Shanxipiaohao to demonstrate what strategies the stated-owned commercial banks to adopt facing the competing of the foreign-founded banks in our country. In the first place, the author use the analysis method of SWOT(Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the stated-owned commercial banks and the foreign-founded banks in our country and decide in the basis of them the strategy of stated-owned banks of using both the Customer Center and the Product Center. In the second place, the author presents that the stated-owned commercial banks should continuing improve the inter control institutions including the corporation structure and the inter control system. This is the objective request of and China's entry to WTO and is also very crucial to win victory in the later competition. |
