Talk About The New Development Of The International United Front

With the change of the international and domestic environment, new situation, new problems that current international united front meets are increasing constantly. History has put forward higher demand to the work of our country's international united front. The traditional experience of the international united front is not totally suitable. We must summarize new experience in time, make great efforts to study the new situation, and substantiate and develop the theory and mechanism of the international united front of our country constantly. Therefore we can adapt to the present intricate international situation, promote the forming and development of the international united front which aims at setting up a fair and reasonable international new order, guarantee the completion of our country's basic task of the new period, and push forward the advance of peace and development of the world. However, there is still obscure understanding in various degree to the important position and function of the international united front in reality. The phenomenon of despising, ignoring the international united front work takes place frequently, which becomes the glaring factor that blocks the work of international united front. So further investigating the theory of international united front in the new period has great realistic meaning. This article plans to take Shanghai Co-operation Organization as an example, and researches into the new situation of the international united front after the cold war to probe into the new development of international united front in the new period. At first this article explains the general theory and historical practice of the international united front. Then it takes Shanghai Co-operation Organization as an example, analyzing the four parts of international united front: the development background, new concept, new mechanism, and new achievement. At last it describes the new development of the international united front.
