The Research On Development Strategy Planning Of Taizhou Port

With the development of economy of our country and further reform and opening, especially after the entry of China to WTO, as an open system which is close to the external environment, the port faces more intensive competition in the market. Taizhou port is one of the most important port of the gold waterway, yangzi river. Its development not only can drive Taizhou and Suzhong regional port environment more better but also plays a positive role which advances the development economy of Taizhou and its opening. The problems of how to adapt to the development of external environment and serve for regional economy are worth researching. Therefore this thesis will research on the future development planning of Taizhou port.Through the investigation on economical transporting quantity of hinterland in Taizhou port and on the basis of understanding current situation and natural conditions of the port, this thesis predicted the future cargo capacity and ship types of Taizhou port. According to the character and position of Taizhou port and the environment of great development strategy of yangzi river in Jiangsu, the thesis put forward the strategic objective of the development of Taizhou port. Then it analyzed development scale, the competition with peripheral ports and investment and financing of the port. From the angel of strategic objective and emphases, the thesis put forward the advice and measurement on the development of Taizhou port and proposed ensuring functional strategy on this basis.There are two main threads in the whole thesis. One is to make use of the make-up method to predict the future cargo capacity, the other is to put forward the strategic objective of the development of Taizhou port on the basis of analyses of future development prospect and systematic prediction, then launch the research around this objective.
