The Multinational Corporation's Performance Evaluation System

Multinational Corporation is one of important powers in the world economy. Researching on the Multinational Corporation's management has practical meaning for Chinese economy's getting into the world economy further. This article is mainly discussing about the Multinational Corporation's performance evaluation system.The performance evaluation system is a powerful control and feedback tool for the Multinational Corporation's operation. It's smooth operating will provide guarantee for the Multinational Corporation to draw up right strategy and implement the strategy.There are many studies in the West about the performance evaluation system and it's very convenient for us to understand the historical evolution and today's situation of the Western corporation's performance evaluation system. It is necessary to get to know factors and key problems, which are influencing the performance evaluation system. Organizational structure,financial system and inflation are some of these factors. In order to fairly evaluate manager and to clearly record the actual operation of the corporation, separating evaluation objects into two different kinds as manager and operating system seems to be very important. So the Multinational Corporation has to set up plan and evaluation measures for the Budget Unit (evaluation focus---manager)and the Strategic Business Unit (evaluation focus---operating system) respectively. The plan and evaluation measures should be based on the Balanced Scorecard and financial,customer,internal business process,learning and growth perspectives should be taken into consideration.The Multinational Corporation's performance evaluation system has abundant contents, except questions mentioned above, there are still many problems to be researched further, for example the relationship between the encouraging system and the performance evaluation system and etc. In a word, the performance evaluation system has significant influence on Multinational Corporation's management. I hope that this article could push forward the research in this field.
