Realities Concerning The Development Of The Economy In The County In The Undeveloped Areas And Research Of The Strategies

As put forward in the Third Plenary Meeting of the Sixteenth CPC, the economic development in the county is strategically important to the national economic development and vigorous efforts should be taken to develop it. Accordingly, it is oi great significance to explore the economy in some county in that it can not only provide guidelines for regional economic development, promote the establishmcn and improvement of national marketing economic system, but also help solve tht current agricultural issues. Furthermore, it is important for us to set and implement the agricultural policies.This dissertation attempts to study and discuss the regional economy development in the undeveloped areas of the West and Centre of China, especially that in Yi-Huang County. In the beginning of the paper, the author has systematically discussed implication and features of the economy in the county. After that, the author offered a positive analysis of the economy development in YiHuang County, focusing on the five aspects: GDP, set assets investment, local financial revenues, product structures, and income of per peasant. Based on this analysis, the author has explored the overall strengths and some factors that have played their parts in agriculture, industry and urbanization in "M-Huang County. According to the actual realities, the paper has also put forward some problems and difficulties that the undeveloped areas of the West and Centre of China arc suffering. These problems and difficulties include retard in ideology, stagnation in thinking, unsoundness in product structures, shortage in fund, retard in infrastructure construction, backwardness in education and technological development. By exploring the causes that result in the problems and difficulties mentioned above, and inlight of the experience in three other counties, author of the paper concludes that, if we want to promote the economic development in the undeveloped areas, we should (1)iberate our thinking and go ahead with the times; (2)improve the product structures; (3)promote the development of agriculture; (4)vigorously make develop the county economy; (5) vigorously promote the urbanization; (6)develop the outward-oriented economy; (7)develop the information economy; (8)enhance the building of the economic functional organizations, (9)continue to renovate and create.The significance of the dissertation lies in the fact that it is both theoretical anc practical. On one hand, it theoretically discusses basic problems concerning the economy development in the county; on the other hand, it objectively analyzes thi realities concerning the undeveloped areas of the West and Centre of China, especially in Yi-Huang County. As a matter of fact, the author of the paper has tried to suggest some strategies to promote the development in the undeveloped areas of the West and Centre of China.
