Current Situation And Developing Strategy Of Vegetable Industrialization In Shandong Province

Vegetable production is very important supporting industry in Shandong agriculture, which is also a main source of farmer's income. Shandong province is the origin of vegetable industrialization in China, and is one of provinces with high level in vegetable production as well. Though there are significant achievements obtained in vegetable management, because of types factors influences, some problems are emerged in vegetable production either, which restricted the development of vegetable industry. Current study focus on vegetable industry in Shandong province, and different analysis methods were integrated. Current status of vegetable industry in Shandong province was thoroughly investigated, and advanced models are summarized in vegetable production. Restricted factors were found. The results stated that, the key point is how to organize the farmers to closely link factors affiliated with before production, production and after production, to construct a working model which can be accepted by the growers, so as the organizers, growers and consumers can share the profits. The most important factor is the steering, organization and regulation of the government. Cooperative industry working model can be the most prior model to impel further development of Shandong vegetable production, which also is a reference for agriculture industrialization in countrywide level.
