Research On The Motive Forces Of Social Development For Building A Well-off Society In An All-round Way

Marxism holds that the mode of social development is a natural historical process moving forward in the spiral and tortuous way, and that different developmental phase is propelled and supported by corresponding driving forces. As far as the developmental forces are concerned, great leaders from Karl Marx to Mao Zedong have explored and expounded in great detail. However, it is quite necessary for us to go on exploring the motive forces for building a well-off society in an all-round way, accordingly, the research on the motive forces of society development in the new phase is theoretically and practically significant. The recognition that the development of society is a dynamic process leads us to believe that the motive forces of social development consist of three dimensions made up of economics politics and culture as well as man's emancipation and full development .The phase of building a well-off society in an all-round way is vital and critical for our national rejuvenation. The motive forces for building a well-off society are characterized by an organic whole of economics politics and culture. Therefore, the progress and mode of the economic political and cultural systems will hinge on the economic growth with Chinese characteristics. The conventional views on force mechanism will impede and retard the smooth fulfillment of the third strategic plan for our modernization drive, and therefore should be transformed and remolded so that a scientific viewpoint of development can be implemented.
