Choosing an appropriate foreign market entry mode is very important for an enterprise to perform in international market. This has drawn a great attention from home and abroad. In this paper some suggestions for China's enterprises to choose the suitable foreign market entry mode will be given on the basis of introduction and comparison of the theory exist for choice of foreign market entry mode decision, the practice of china enterprises' internationalization operation by analyzing of the foreign market entry mode in USA and Britain, and the entry mode choice of some representative enterprises of china. The first part of this paper is a sum up of study of foreign market entry mode. Including an introduction of the status in quo of the research in foreign market entry mode will be mentioned, and some trends in market entry mode theory, as well as some research strategies for market entry mode theory. So we can have a unitary review of research in foreign market entry. Description and analyzing of foreign market entry mode decision in details will be done in the second part. Also some conflicting results of theory and empirical studies will be narrated in this part, we can have a deep understanding of the theory in doing so. In the third part an analysis of the internal characteristics of the entry mode and the factors that influence the foreign market entry mode will be given, provide for the later discussion. The forth part, discussion of foreign market entry mode decision of Chinese enterprises by analyze the choice of entry mode of Chinese enterprises in some host country (USA and Britain), and some cases of representative enterprises. The last part will give some suggestions for Chinese enterprises when they choose a foreign market entry mode.
