Research On The Difference Of Development About Towns In Zhejiang

The population in towns of China is the top one in the world. However, the level of urbanization is much lower than the average level of the world, what's more, lower than the level of developing countries. By forecasting, the population in towns will be up to 6,300,000,000 when 2010. As "the head of countryside, the tail of city", towns take on the important function of urbanization, and they have essential effect on solving problems between cities and countrysides. Consequently, it is significant to deal well with the towns' direction of development and town planning. Besides drive of radialization, promotion of towns and local economy is also the key to make Zhejiang province be one of the most vital economic provinces along East Sea in China.The experience can be provided to undeveloped districts by studying the course of development of towns in Zhejiang province.Difference of development between towns in Zhejiang province is very obvious, including immense difference between districts, county and city, and individual towns. What's more, there is also difference in terms of inner mechanism and development modes of towns. What rules of difference exist? What reasons cause to form difference between towns? How to do to weaken illogicality of difference between towns, in the light of actuality of development of towns in different districts? This thesis is going to study to solve these problems during development of towns in Zhejiang province, by the means of combination with ration and quality, combination with analysis of data and space, and combination with theory and reality.The chapter one simply defines concept of town, in the meanwhile, this chapter states the background and significance, and confirms methods and routes.The chapter two mainly looks back theories about relevant study of towns in the world. This chapter sums up and analyses these theories to provide experience and revelation for this thesis.The chapter three simply analyses general situation, spatial character, steps of development and mechanism of development, according to unitary development of towns in Zhejiang province.The chapter four studys the difference between districts of actual development of towns in Zhejiang, and sums up rules of difference, in terms of difference of spatial layout, scale and development of economy.The chapter five mainly explores inner and outer mechanism of difference about thedevelopment of towns in Zhejiang, the key point of which is to analyses effect on difference of development from various factors, from the view points of inner promotion of countryside labour's transfer and outer drive of regional environment, industrial development and policies. Regard various districts as study objects of the difference, corresponding measures to deal with problems are put forward in the light of present development of towns in regions, starting with the main drive that affects the development of towns in chapter six.
