Management Information System Of The Three Gorges Hydropower Plant Based On EAM/ERP

Three Gorges Hydropower Plant (TGHP) is a modern large-scale corporation. It is inevitable for TGHP to adopt advanced managerial methods. The managerial level of TGHP is related to the implement effectiveness of the managerial strategies of China Three Gorges Corporation and the future competitive power of Changjiang Electrical Power Stock Company in the electric power market. In order to achieve the overall goal, realize the digital management, electronic Production Management System (ePMS) have to be established, which can improve the managerial level of TGHP.Based on advanced managerial experience both at home and abroad, and taking the practical situation of TGHP into account, this paper designs ePMS and puts it into effect. The main content of this paper is as follows:(1) Expounding the purpose and significance of applying ERP to the production management system of TGHP;(2) Based on ERP and taking the practical situation of TGHP into account, ePMS software is designed.(3) Putting ePMS into effect in TGHP so as to standardize the enterprise management and optimize the operation flow.The main conclusions are as follows:(1) ERP possesses such characteristics as integration, reorganization, allocation and expansibility and has a wonderful prospect.(2) Based on the objective of controlling the cost through integrating plans, materials, equipments, operation, files, safety, reliability, human resources and financial affairs, this paper orients ePMS from EAM to ERP in the implementation process of production and management system.(3) The ePMS software designed in this paper includes 8 modules such as material management system and technological files management system. Its supporting settings harness network, server and so on.(4) The implementation of ePMS requires establishing project organizations, drawing implementing programs and carrying out investigations and consultations.
