On The Research Concerning The Aims Of The Governing Party

This paper mainly focuses on the research of the Chinese Communist Party as the aims of the governing party. Serving the people wholeheartedly is the essential aim of the Chinese Communist Party, which is remarkable and quite different from the other parties. It is the important topic of the Party building theory of Marxism, also the point of departure and standpoint of all the work of our party. Serving the people wholeheartedly as the aim of our party, it has different historical meanings during different periods because of the different missions of the Party in each period. Entering the new century, the historical conditions and environment of the Party had changed greatly. The Party faced the test of governing, putting an end to corruption and encouraging incorruption, test of market economy plus the challenges of technological revolution and 'peace evolution'. Whether the Party can serve the people wholeheartedly or not is becoming a very conspicuous, urgent and challenging question. Therefore, thorough research on the Party aim can enlighten and influence the Party building theory-practice.The paper consists of five parts, which are independent of each other yet they are united.Part One is the semantic analysis of the Party aim, defining the Party aim, the scope of the people and the scientific intension of the interests of the people.Part Two is the value analysis of the aim of the Party, clarifying the extreme importance of its character, the leading, the building and the courseand expounding the extreme importance of the Party aim to strengthen the governing status, realize the historical mission and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nationality.Part Three is the analysis of the theory of the Party aim, organizing the explorations of Marx, Engles , Lenin, Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping to the Party aim theory and mainly explicating the new development of Jiang Zeming's " Three Represents" key thought to the Party aim theory.Part Four is the review of the Party history, including the three periods of new-democratic revolution, socialist revolution and building. A detailed survey of the Party's practice shows that the history of the Chinese Communist Party is the history of serving the people wholeheartedly.Part Five is the research on how to develop and carry out the Party aim in the new period. To inherit and develop the Party aim, we must focus on the new demands of practice and the characteristics of the times, answer questions of why serve the people and how to serve the people. Furthermore, it will solve the problem of how to make it and to become authentic & advanced with the development of serving the people whole-heartedly. Practising the Party aim must be based on the political demands, moral discipline and systematic standard as its guide, as its condition and as its guarantee.
