The telecom industry of China is growing speedly while the global telecom industry is developing difficultly. Especially, telecom value-added sevices such as SMS and network game have showed fine foreground to which a good business model is essential. This paper gives analysis on business model of telecom value-added sevice together with the development of value-added sevice by theory and practice.In this paper, in the foreword, the signification, method and frame are first introduced. And then, the concept, character, class, and the forcast of the value-added service are mentioned. After that, basic theory on business model is introduced. The third part is the emphasis, in which methods like examples, contrast and SWOT are used to analyse the elements of the business model of telecom value-added service. In the end, the examples of "I-Mode" and "Monternet" are introduced to prove that open value chain and cooperative business model are nessisary.
