Value-based Management is a kind of overall -management thought. It involves every aspect of business administration, and itis to reform the management system of "the enterprise in all directions. In foreign the Value-based Management has been already recognized by numerous companies, and-in domestic the tides of Value-based Management is raising. But if we want to make the Value-based Management to play a great role really in China's socialist market construction, there is a very long way to go.This paper aims at probing a set of systematic Value-based Management modes, offering a kind of advanced management thought for the Chinese enterprise at the stage of the reform. After analyzing the internal and external environment which the Value-based Management faced with, this paper has absorbed in most popular view at present -The Cost-based Management, the balanced score card and EVA, and combined it with the thought of strategic management, and put forward the basic mode of Value-based Management from a kind of angle at the customer, interior business process, financial affairs, learning and innovation in order to seek the way to drive shareholder value increased separately. Then after -:the experimental analysis it states the basic frame of Value-based Management .At last, to'form the overall Value-based Management system, this paper probes to the relevant problem of the value report.This paper lays particular emphasis on describing the-Value-based Management from the financial administration angle, and introducing the financial or nOn-financial way to increase the Value of the enterprise from the respects, such as customer,-internal business process, financial affairs, learning and innovation, respectively. Chapter one, it introduces the meaning and evolution of Value-based Management; the formula of assessing enterprise value, the opportunity and challenge faced in; development;. Chapter two, it tells how to combine the strategic management:with the Value-based Managements the process of carrying with Value-based Management and the basic mode; Chapter three, it describes Value-based management system arid attempts to seek value drivers at customer, interior business process, financial affairs, learning and innovation respects, which is a key -part of this paper; Chapter four, it tells the empirical research and analysis of cases; Chapter five, it attempt to find the role, the principle and main content of the value report.
