A Research On Analysis And Appraisal Of Regional Competitiveness And Countermeasure Of Promotion

With the arrival of the economic globalization, the globalization character of the regional economy becomes more and more remarkable, and Regional Competitiveness turns the decisive factor of regional economy' s obtaining advantage of international competitiveness day by day. This thesis determines the research range of the regional competitiveness as the provincial unit. Regional Competitiveness is the ability that provincial administrative unit in its own geographical area possess resource rational distribution in its large area (country).The Regional Competitiveness, which has so many influence factors, is comprehensive & complicated. Its influence factors are numerous, including every aspect of social economy: economic strength, industry, industrial structure, enterprise, science and technology, infrastructure, resident's quality, open degree, environmental quality, etc. Every factor interacts and restricts with each other and forms a complicated system with one's own structure, function, operating mechanism.The thesis thinks that the basic frame of Regional Competitiveness should be divided into two levels: Direct Competitiveness and Indirect Competitiveness. The Indirect Competitiveness is the supporting strength of the other one. The Direct Competitiveness is formed by industrial competitiveness, enterprise' s competitiveness, and international competitiveness, which reflect the level of the regional competitiveness directly; Indirect Competitiveness is made up of economic comprehensive strength, environment & infrastructure, manpower capital, scientific & technological competitiveness, which as outside indirect factor reflect the regional competitiveness through the direct competitiveness. Seven major factors of Direct Competitiveness and Indirect Competitiveness complement with each other, forming organic integrity of annlysis frame of regionalcompetitiveness together.The thesis designs an index system of regional competitiveness evaluation under basic frame of regional competitiveness analysis by collecting in a large number of indexes reflecting regional economy. And it also introduces AHP to regional competitiveness evaluation. Which is according to composition of evaluation index system to confirms its pass levels, construct the matrix of judging, and analyze after calculating the corresponding digital weight.The thesis apprises the Regional Competitiveness of three provinces in the northeast of China according to its own method and analyzes the result.
