In the new century, a lot of new changes have been happened in the fields of world economy and culture. Reform has become the main stream. Globalize information and culture exchange become more important. Due to the globalization and the rapid changes of market and technology, enterprises face all kinds of competition.The Learning Organization is not only a principal competence of any organization, but also a key factor to the success of an organization. Peter Senge, the author of the bestseller The Fifth Discipline: The Art and Practice of Learning Organization, once said: " The most successful enterprise will be the leaning organization in the future because the only sustainable competitive advantage is the ability to learn faster than your competitors." So it is critically important for companies to became learning organization.After introducing the definition of Learning Organizations, their basic characteristics and principal contents, and some of the most important issues in this field, I analyze the great influence on building Learning Organizations and three kinds of Learning Organization Models. At last I describe the barriers to building Learning Companies and give some solutions to building Learning Companies in China.
