Analysis On Dairy Production And Trade Of World And China

Dairy industry is an important part of animal husbandry, its development is attributed to improving the diet and nutribution structure of Chinese, and can also promote the adjustment of agriculture structure and raise the value of agricultural products as well as improve farmers' income. With China's WTO entry, China's agriculture becomes more and more integrated with the world market. These make China's dairy competition to internationalize further. So it is more imminent to enhance the competitiveness of China's dairy industry. It is not only very imminent and necessary, but also significant in theory and practice to analyze the world and China status quo and trends for production and trade of dairy industry, clear the existing problem in our dairy industry, and put forward the corresponding counter-measures. The dissertation analyzed the problems of the competition of the dairy industry in the world market and the sustainable development of China's dairy industry from the angle of the applied economics according to the statistics data of world and China's dairy production and trade. The dissertation is composed of 9 chapters.Chapter 1 introduced briefly aim, significance and method of study, current domestic and international dairy study development and the structure of the dissertation.Chapter 2 analyzed the development of world raw milk production , distribution and trade of dairy industry ,the changing of the major dairy producing countries' comparative position and fundamental trend of world dairy growth according to the statistics data of FAO of cow milk.Chapter 3 analyzed the competitiveness of the major exporting countries of whole milk powder, skim milk powder, butter and cheese, the distribution and the comparative position of the major producing countries, supply and demand of the market and the changing of the trade volume and value.Chapter 4 to Chapter 5 studies the developmental history and status quo of Australia and New Zealand who are two major exporting countries in milk production and forecasts the development trend in the two countries.Chapter 6 to Chapter 9 introduce the developmental history of China's dairy industry, analyzed the characteristics of milk consumption and foreign trade in China, illustrated the existing major problems in the production, consumption and trade and finally put forward corresponding counter-measures according to the statistics data of China's dairy production.
