Studies On The Rural Resident's Consumption Question Of Fujian Province

The paper is based on investigating and collecting the consumption data of rural resident of Fujian from 1978 to 2002. Around the rural resident's consumption question of Fujian ,the paper consists of five chapters. Chapter one expounds the research background and meaning of this text, recommends the study trends and trend of development briefly .introduces the concerning theories that support the conclusion of the papenconsumer demand structure change laws , stage of consuming theory, demand elasticities theory, consumer behaviour theory and so on. Chapter two has analysed the overall current situation of rural resident's consumption demand of Fujian objectively, have thought that the rural resident's consumption demand of Fujian province possesses three characteristics: Firstly, the level of consumption improves, but rate of increase shows a tendency to drop; Secondly, the demand structure is changed obviously, consumption quality improves constantly; And rural resident's consumption demand have obvious difference between different income level between urban and rural residents, between different areas.Lastly, probe into the potentiality on the rural consumer market .Chapter three carries on quantitative analysis to the rural resident's consumption structure of native province by using the Extended Linear Expenditure System model, points out variable relation of interal factors in consumption structure, then predicts the prospect of resident's consumption demand : Inhabit consumption demands increase obviously; rural resident has relatively strong consumption demands to the durable consumer goods; the communication demand of the traffic rises constantly; education amusement consumption will be intensified . Chapter four has analysed the factors in detail that influences the rural resident's consumption: peasant income, market circulation of rural system, consume right to need , countryside consumption environment, rural resident's consumption idea,etc. It is the important reason such as the traditional economic system, imperfect system of social security that leading to "consumption' s demand insufficiency".Combing previous analyses,the last chapter puts forward some useful ways: Stabilize rural resident's income, cultivate the new point of income growth ; Strengthen rural circulation of commodities system construction; The enterprise faces the rural consumer market, develop the products adapting to the market, strengthen the after-sale service, improve product quality and service quality; Strengthen rural infrastructure construction, improve countryside consumption environment; the consumption tactics of different income level and area; Set up and perfect the policy of encouraging rural resident's consumption; Accelerate the pace of samll cities and towns of countryside construction.
