| Railway has been China's economic artery all along. It has always been the main way of most passengers and cargoes transportation since the birth of the Republic of China and such state will go on existing for a long time.After 20 years' reform and opening, the market mechanism being perfected in China and the market economy being improved day by day, railway transportation industry is inevitably following the trend to march to market. As the direct production unit which faces market, basic railway transportation stations will go with the stream without doubt. But because railway transportation industry has been working under the control of planned economy for years and because it has its own features, basic railway transportation stations have some disadvantages which can't fit in with market economy. The model of leadership is one of them.To fit in better with market economy and bring into full play the important human resources, this article puts forward some inquiries and suggestions on the reform of leadership models at basic railway transportation stations on the basis of analysis of the features of railway itself, the surroundings it faces, the developing trend, advantages and disadvantages of many commonest leadership models.This essay has four parts altogether. Part one is about the necessity of leadership models reform at basic railway transportation stations. Mainly based on the demand of current situation and the future developing trend of railway industry, it analyzes the disadvantages of the existing models of leadership to prove the necessity of reform. It illustrates the steps and points for attention of leadership models reform at railway transportation stations. Part four is discussion on practice of leadership models reform. It takes a basic railway transportation unit as an example to suggest and inquire into leadership models reform. |
