| After entering the 21th century, the consumption of petrochemical product is rapidly increasing with the sustain development of the state economy, and which give a favorable opportunity to the development of our petrochemical enterprises. Meanwhile petrochemical industries are experiencing important changes under the adjustment of industrial structure and distribution, the pressure of quality, enviroment protection, competition, natural resources and as well as entering WTO. Especially, the Geermu Refinery is facing sevre challenges for its scale-small plant, one-track product structure, scare process load and poor profit. So, it is necessary to research the enterprise's develping strategy, direct its development with explicit strategy, and gain the enterprise's core competence, which is good to survive and gain development for the enterprise.This dissertation is around the point of development of Geermu Refinery. An appropriate plan is proposed in it by means of applying theory of enterprise strategic management, and making use of the theories combining with practicing. Firstly, the author describes the development history of Geermu Refinery, analyzes the internal and the external environment of the actual enterprise, indicates explicitly the enterprise itself inhering advantage and disadvantage and facing the challenges and opportunities. The author also points out that Geermu Refinery own unique advantages including the QingHai-Tibel's distinctive geography, the nationality strategic enviroment and the rapidly developing economy. The rich natural gas resources in QingHai gas area, the soaring methanol product and its backward position product market provide a uncomparable condition for the enterprise of developing the natural gas industry which is symbolized by giant methanol. So, the paper brings forward the development strategy of adjusting the product structure, refining, and making thechemical industry strong.Secondly, the author further presents five measures of realizing the strategy, which emphasizes the adjustment of enterprise configuration, and puts forward a detailed scheme concerning eliminating the choke point of refinery, promoting quality, enriching product and implementing the giant methanol project.The development strategy which is described in this paper is appropriate for current situation of Geermu Refinery, and can better solve the difficulties confronted with the survival and development of the enterprises. And a practicable scheme is proposed.This is also a beneficial research for the development of the middle and small types refinery on the condition of quickening adjustment of petrochemical industry structure and distribution . |
