| In order to reinforce and improve her leadership, to enhance her leading and ruling level, our party has carried though many helpful explorations. With the gradual establishment of socialist market economic system and access to WTO, the problem of the Party's leading mode doesn't accommodate to ruling mode still exists. To meet the demand of "progress with times", the Report of the sixteenth Plenary of the Communist Party of China emphasizes: "must grasp the marching pulse of contemporary Chinese society, reform and improve the Party's leading mode and ruling mode, leading system and working system, make the Party's work energetic". The reformation and improvement of the Party's leading mode and ruling mode is an important theoretical and practical question, it has overall effect on propelling socialist democratic polity, consolidating the Party's ruling status, enhancing the Party's leading level and ruling level, and constructing comprehensive Well-to-do society. To reform and improve the Party's leading mode and ruling mode, we must conscientiously probe and obey the rules of Party ruling, deeply understand the essential questions about the reformation and perfection of the Party's leading mode and ruling mode, such as the historical exploration, practical significance, general demand, operational idea, etc. following details:(A ) this essay expatiates the historical explorations for the reformation and improvement of our Party's leading mode and ruling mode.
