The Research On The Change Of The Property Rights Of The Transnational Corporations

As a result of international production process and high technology application, transnational corporations draw a world wide attention of all nations, enterprises and academic circles. Particularly with the increasing development of economic globalization, transnational corporations have become the major figure of the world's economy. In the coming 21st century, they play a major role in the distribution of resourses of the world. With the great development of transnational corporations, the 1 human society, from the age of distribution and exchange within countries, steps into the times of international distribution and interchange within and between enterprises, thus the international integrated producing system conies into being. And transnational companies become the world-wide research subject in the economic society. From the mid-90s of the 20th century, the study of transnational corporations has obtained certain developments in China, but there are still several blanks left for further research.This essay tries to analyse the changes of equity system of transnational corporations by comprehensively using the Marxist economic theories and western new institutional economics theories. First, it briefly discusses, compares and analyses Marxist theories of changing equity system and western new institutional economics system. Then, using the theory of distribution and the theory of transaction cost, it analyses the changing process of transnational company's equity system, briefly discusses the courses and motivations of a great upsurge in transnational corporations' combination and the establishment of international strategic alliance, and then compares , analyses and briefly comment on the other theories of explaining the behaviour of transnational companies. Finally , it analyses the revelations to Chinese enterprises which are drown from the changes of transnational corporations' equity system.
