Human resources are the decisive factors for an enterprise to reach its producing and management targets, and are the essential force to push the economic development and the advancement of mankind. So, performance appraisal is one basic issue of human resource development and management in an enterprise. This thesis probes into the performance appraisal system according to the developing trend of human resources and practical demand of enterprises.Firstly, by taking into account various factors of performance and characteristics of appraisal key elements and making use of late knowledge and theory, such as Modern Management, Human Resources Management, Psychology and Organization Behaviour Science, this thesis designs the appraisal index system more general and practicable, realizing the change from vague to distinct for index, from short-term achievement to long-term strategy for system.Secondly, this thesis sets up synthetical model of performance appraisal on the basis of putting foot on the problem of appraisal information process, which includes collecting, processing, checking and evaluating, when executes appraisal operation. In the process of analysis, this thesis takes advantage of technique of statistics and economics,widening thinking,clearing difficulty and providing reference for different levels managers.At last, this thesis applies theories and techniques mentioned above in detail to ShenYang ShuangFu Machine Co.,Ltd to testify the feasibility of the performance appraisal system,thus starts its plan of performance appraisal as an experimental unit.By analyzing and discussing the disadvantage and defect on its appraisal system, ShenYang ShuangFu Machine Co.,Ltd, has succeeded in carrying it out,so as to probe an effective approach for the performance appraisal of the modern enterprise operators.Meanwhile, this thesis could be of help for modern enterprise to take measures against human resources management problems at profound levels.
