On The Human-being-in-itself: The Core Notion Of The Idea Of Scientific Development

Viewing from the point of dialectic materialism and historical materialism, this paper mainly analysis the theory original and the practice foundation of scientific development, whether insisting on the Human-being-in-itself or not is the demarcation and mark-stone on distinguishing between the traditional and the modern development patterns. Scientific development attaches great importance to the human status, dignity, value and significance, regarding the need of human's existent and development not only as internal motivation to the human development, but also as the start point of the social development. From a longitude view, based on the analysis of consequence of precedent development that pay too much attention to "material" and neglect "human" in dealing with the relation between the human and the nature, the paper points out that we should protect the equality between generation and generation while we realize the justice inside the present generation.This inevitably leads to the choice of sustainable development based on the development of human-being-in-itself. From the latitude point, based on the analysis of unbalanced social development caused by merely pursuit the growth of GDP, the paper emphasizes that develop-ment is over all development, including material civilization, spiritual civilization and political civilization, that the end of development must be founded on the principle of common benefit, and realize the social justice, stability, harmony and prosperity, on the condition that realize the all round, well arranged and harmonious development between all factors of the social system and the improvement of the competence of human, the exploring of the potentiality of human and over all development of human . In one word, insisting on the human-bemg-in-itself,taking human as the nature of the social development, it indicates the harmony between the human and social development in one hand, and demonstrates the deep concern and rational arrangement of human to its prospect and its destiny of development on the other.
