Basic Problems On The Crime Of International Terrorism

The crimes of international terrorism has been one of the most serious danger to the world today, it is regarded as "political pestilence". It refers to the criminal actions involving foreign factors, committed by individuals, organized groups or states by intimidating or coercing methods to affect the masses' emotions, countries' or governments' foreign policies to obtain political purpose. Terrorism is not an accidental phenomenon. Its emergence, development and change lies deep under the political, historic, cultural, economic, religious, ethnic reasons and so on. In general, the main aspects are the followings: the great stimulation to the terrorists given by the modern propaganda and medium; ethnic contradiction, racial conflicts and religious problem; the loose administration on arms and ammunition in so many countries; hegemonism, especially the state-strategy of some big powers, and the increasing gap between the North and The South. The rich countries become even richer, the poor countries much poor. All these political, economic and ideological problems are the basic reasons of international terrorism. In order to restrain and smash international terrorism, we should strengthen international cooperation, set up an effective system and regulation of international law, prevent and punish international terrorism by multiple means and methods.
