Service economy times" is coming slowly with the knowledge economy and economic globalization. During such times, knowledge-service industry plays a very important role. Chinese future international competitive ability depends upon the development of service trade, especially upon the knowledge-service industry. As to the present development of Chinese knowledge-service industry, it falls behind other economic fields and other countries.After china entered into WTO, Chinese knowledge-service industry will be more and more opened to the world. Then foreign service trade will enter and take the market of Chinese service. The service quality of Chinese knowledge-service industry is generally backward. When world service tycoons occur before us, can we deal with them? With the promise of open-door realizing step by step, the service trade which has great potentiality will become the hot spot which foreign business men invest in. This is not only opportunity, but also challenge for Chinese service trade which is protected too much and restrained too much. So, when we concern about the development of Chinese knowledge-service industry, we should pay attention to the quality first, because good quality is high competitive capacity. We must reinforce quality to make Chinese knowledge-service industry to have the capacity which can contend with world service trade. First the article discusses china's knowledge-service industry state, and the clash after entering the WTO; Second it talks something about the quality of knowledge-service industry, and the basis to improve the quality of knowledge-service industry. Last, it talks something about the means to improve the quality of knowledge-service industry.
