| After nearly half a century's fast development, especially during the more than two decades since the Reform and Opening to the outside Policy was set, non-governmental economy has become an important force in the economic development in China, and it has become one of the essential parts of our national economy. It has played an important role in promoting the increase of the economy, and providing more employment opportunities, animating the market, and completely bringing every positive social factor into play, accelerating the development of the productive forces. As the Nongovernmental economy develops more quickly now, it will become the new force and main thread of China's economy in the 21st century. So, we have to encourage, support and guide it's developing firmly.However, after China's entry into the WTO, during its developing process, China's non-governmental economy has some problems as well. Serious family-style management, unclear property rights, unscientific personnel mechanism, indefinite developing strategies, inadequate credit systems and low company quality are just some examples. Looking externally, the main problems are incorrect thoughts and consciousness, unscientific management systems, unequal treatment as "national citizens", imperfect legal assurance, and so on. Concerning these issues, I put forward some suggestions in the article to promote further and healthy development of the non-governmental economy. Such as: Incorporating the development of the non-governmental economy into general strategies of the national economy and social development. Optimizing the media, legal institutions,funds circulating, system, service, citizens' treatment, rules and regulations and Party construction environments, etc. Accelerating the construction of regulations of the non-governmental companies, developing the key competitive abilities of the non-governmental economy and improve their overall quality, etc.
