Study On Open-Economy And Economic Openness Degree In China

This paper places the emphasis on open-economy and economic openness degree in China. After entry to WTO, open in China has entered a new stage. The development of economy globalization makes the international environment of open change greatly, and since the economic crisis in Southeast Asia, the strategy of export-oriented economy is not already suited for the open demand in china. So establishment of the open-economy in china has become an important task in the field of politics and economics. Based on the open practice in china and the reality demand of establishing a new strategy of open, this paper studies on development strategy of open-economy and economic openness degree in china.The main conclusions in this paper are as follows: (1) Two main characteristics of open practice in china are open based on policy and unbalance open.(2) Export-oriented economy is not fit with new open strategy in china. So the new strategy of open-economy is an upgraded new strategy.(3) Economy globalization is the main external condition to develop open economy.(4) Strategy of open economy in China is the direct outcome of entry to WTO.(5) Open economy is a kind of economic form, and it incorporates open based on system form, open based on structure equilibrium, high degree on economy openness.(6) Based on open economy, this paper constructs a systematic indexes to measure economic open degree in China, and this systematic indexes concludes indexes of process measurement and result measurement.(7) Open degree of goods trade in China is relatively high. From the open process, open degree of service trade in China is higher than developing countries but lower than developed countries; from the open result, open degree of service trade is lower than the average level of the world.(8)This paper makes some suggestions on developing open economy, including institution construction, structure equilibrium (such as multi open markets, high open in services trade and "going out strategy") and finance open based on safety.
