With the rapidly development of mobile telecommunication the cell phone becomes more and more popular and diversiform. The competition among the mobile telecom companies in China market is upgraded. Such phenomenon is very typical in YZ city. The more and more keen competition shows the coming of mobile telecom industries' mature period. Under such circumstances the mobile telecom companies should carefully research the competition development and market potential capability then know well of consumers' requirements and their consumptive trend. Only in this way can they take advantage of the right resource to work out the effective market strategies and competitive policies. The purpose of this paper is to draw a clear outline of mobile telecom market of YZ city and give the exact information of business competition and consumption through the analysis of the market research.The thesis is composed of six chapters. Chapter 1 tells the genesis, my main job in the research, innovation and insufficiency. Chapter 2 introduces the background and competitive information of mobile telecom market. And chapter 3 focuses on the general description of the whole process of this market research. Then in chapter 4 I gives the distribution of the research sample. Chapter 5 is the emphasis of this paper. In this part based on the characteristic of telecom market I use the famous Ansoff Matrix Theory to analyze the research result from the following four aspects: market penetration, market development, product development and competitive strategy. Then I offer some systemiccounter-measures and advices in a creative way. Hereby in the last chapter I draw a conclusion that we can find the advantage of mobile telecom companies from their network, brand, service and price. At the same time I try to give the advice on the cultivation of mobile telecom company's competitive ability from seven aspects such as concept innovation and brand innovation.The emphasis of the thesis is market research. Based on it through the analysis of its result and aiming at the market strategy I present the countermeasure and advice. The advantage is that in view of the actual mobile telecom market of YZ city during the research we comprehensively adopt many scientific market research methods such as Questionnaire, Data Analysis method, Depth Interviews and Subjective Probability then use the SPSS to analyze the data to get plenty of valuable market information. The advice we offered can be profitable strategic reference when the mobile telecom company set down their marketing policies on market development and product development.
