Inland waterway transport accords to the requirement of sustained development and plays an important part in the economical development of the poverty mountainous area. So it is very important to quicken the development of inland waterway transport.Owing to being in the west-south district Yunnan province belongs to the border area which is undeveloped province. The capital for transportation construct is tight relatively, which can be used in inland waterway transport is much less. That makes freshwater shipping in the course development at present and there is a biggish difference compared with modern inland waterway transport. For example the infrastructure of inland waterway transport is very laggard. The rank of the river-route is low. The main match establishment for the river-route is lack.. The capital is not enough because there is not steady fund channel. So the potential of inland waterway transport cannot be played full. Even in some parts it restricts the development of local economics. Thereby effective measures should be adopted to accelerate the development of inland waterway transport in Yunnan province aiming at problems above.According to the views mentioned above, the author and the other members of the item made an investigation into the relative transportation department and typical river-route and lakes in Yunnan province, collect a great deal of information about the economics, transportation and freshwater shipping of Yunnan province. After making a scientific analyzing that information we summed up some existing problems. According to the plan of the social economics we forecasted the freight quantity in every river-routes and harbors and goods. Then put forward programming ship by demonstrating the main line. At last we made a scientific, reasonable programming research plan with river-routes and harbors. And we brought forward implementing idea by stages and the solving countermeasures for the existing problems. |
