Philosophization About The City Construction

Under the influence of global urbanism movement, the current pace of urbanism and urban modernization in China develops rapidly, as well as city construction and the research and analysis about the basic condition of the city construction in our country , aims at how to make city construction scientific and efficient , and demonstrates city construction's matters such as its subject , its object and their relations by the rationale of Marxism philosophy . The author considers that the city construction and its research can not be apart from the city construction's subject or object , only in the dialectic moving course of city construction's subject and object can we realize the scientific road of the city construction . The author discusses this problem by separating it into four parts .The first part: In this part , the author introduces the basic status of the academic research about the city construction inner and outer countries . With the rising of the development of city and urbanism movement, many schools begin to make researches on the city construction and city planning in foreign countries . They illustrate such aspects of the city construction as from the rational arrangement of the internal city to the harmonious coordination between- the city and its milieu , from material construction to interpersonal relations' coordination , from the city construction to the coordination between the city and the natural environment . As to the current status of the city construction together with its research , scholars put forward merely odd , unsystematic theories related to the city administration and city power institution as well as the combination of each other , so we must ponder over the city construction and administration as a huge system engineered by the point of view of the dialectical materialist.The second part : The comprehensive discussion of the subject of the city construction . The subject, that is to say , the whole city political system , mostlymeans the total of various factors which affect and influence the city construction , such as the party , the corporation , the organize , the individual. According to the different of functions and statuses , we also separate it into two aspects including the city political power system and the city nonpolitical power system . With the differences , but the real subject of the city construction must be the masses of the people in essence .Making the most of the subjectiveness of theirs has to do with the effect of the city construction and administration . So it is necessary to change the old ideas as well as to deal well with the interest relations among the different units , the groups and the individuals . Moreover , we must mobilize the enthusiasm of the laborers by available means and method .The third part : The comprehensive discussion of the object of the city construction refers the material and mental factors , that is to say , the total of various factors affecting the subject of the city construction . For analyzing the object of the city construction , this article illustrates that the natural and social environments including the culture environments restrict and affect the city construction together with its subject according to the difference between the natural environments and the social environments .The fourth part: The article demonstrates the unity between the subject and object of the city construction, that is to say , the subject can not be apart from the object, the object is influenced by the subject, the subject and the object contain each other . The road to the city construction is the process that the subject understands and acts on the object and the object reacts to the subject. In fact, it is a process of practice-cognition-practice and a process of the subject and the object coming into the unity gradually ; At the same time , it is a process of remaking both the objective world and the subjective world.
