Abstract/Summary:
The 21st century is the century of economic and financial globalization .China entering into WTO, it is fundamental for Chinese banking to seize the opportunities, assure smooth transition and occupy favored position in the international financial competitions. It is important to deepen the reformation of financial system as well.Being the largest developing country in the world ,China has just built market economic system of socialist which was born out of planned economic system, participates in international competition for a short term without too much experience. All these force us to do detailed analyses and provide guidance in practice after we started our financial opening policy, especially after we entered into WTO.This paper first of all elaborates on financial control and financial deepening theory, providing the theory basis for financial opening. It also pointes out the theory's difference between the developed and developing countries and does analyses of the profit and the cost about the financial opening.It follows that the paper turns into the practice analysis. First, it reviews the opening course of the Chinese banking which makes us understand the development and the characteristic of opening of the Chinese banking. Second, it points out the opportunities and challenges of the financial opening which makes us have an objective and correct understanding about financial opening. Third, the paper makes a quantitative analysis and a qualitative analysis of the international competition capability of the Chinese banking to find the gab between banking at home and abroad which eventually leads to the proposed counter measures for Chinese banking.According to the analysis and actual situation of Chinese banking, this paper provides the strategies of Chinese banking to reduce the loss.
