It is well known that development is the core of finance and innovation is the soul of it, financial innovation will become the main content of finance in the 21st century. However, financial innovation will also bring about many new problems relating to financial supervision. In other words, the financial innovation will promote the development of finance, at the same time, it also will challenge the current financial supervision mode and the financial supervision system; increase the difficulty of financial supervision; and even invalid the traditional financial supervision system and measures. In conclusion, it is necessary to make innovation of the financial supervision in such circumstances.The dissertation is divided into four parts. Foreword gives an introduction of the dissertation, including the purports of it, the research methods, the framework and the main points of it. And then with the analysis of the development trend of financial innovation, it is pointed out the necessity of financial innovation. Chapter 1 discusses systematically the theory of financial supervision innovation and concludes that innovation of financial supervision is naturely trend of the financial development, which is mentioned for the first time in china. Chapter 2 includes three parts. Firstly, itevaluates wholly the current financial supervision system in our country to point out the achievements and weaknesses of the system. Secondly, it discusses the problems that exist in financial supervision. After that, considering the latest development trend of international financial supervision and theories of financial supervision, it is discussed how to establish an integrative institution of financial supervision and how to implement functional supervision. Chapter 3 discusses respectively about the systematic innovation, the judicial innovation, and the methodological innovation of financial supervision in china.
