In recent years, GMS has expanded quickly in Guangzhou. It is one of the fastest grown detail industry and also one of the most important. This article includes the following parts:Part one describes the present situation of GMS, gives the main idea and the classification of this industry.Part two reasserts GMS, and adopts shopping circle theory and product mix to analyze the operation characteristics of GMS.Part three adopts customer consumption model to analyze consumer's behavior, and wants to find the reason of its fast growth.Part four analyzes the competition environment of GMS in Guangzhou market, and tries to find the problem of its development.Part five gives some advice on the development of GMS according to consumer's expect.
