The paper is based on the case study. Firstly, it sets forth the concept and method of Performance Appraisal. Then it also reviews Performance Appraisal of Huayue Enterprise Group Company. All kinds of conditions which appeared in recent three Performance Appraisal of Huayue Enterprise Group Company are discussed. This paper not only analyses the reason of the problems of performance appraisal of Huayue Enterprise Group Company and the effects of the performance appraisal results, but also puts forward good measures. The paper is divided into six parts.In preface, it introduces Huayue Enterprise Group Company briefly. And it points out that the intention of writing the paper is to improve the results of Performance Appraisal.In chapter one, it introduces the general concept and special means of Performance Appraisal. Several methods and existing problems which both are usually used in analyzing are discussed. This paper is focused on the general concept of performance appraisal, which is contributed for all purposes for the Huayue Enterprise Group Company.In chapter two, it reviews the practice of three Performance Appraisal of Huayue Enterprise Group Company, based on the analysis of purposes, indexes and standards, methods, weight distribution, procedure, and organization of these performance appraisals.Chapter 3 is the key part of the paper. Deeply analyzed the Performance Appraisal of Huayue Enterprise Group Company, the main reasons why theseperformance appraisal are distorted are: without job analysis, without performance objective, uncertain index of performance appraisal, the content and index of performance appraisal unmatched the purposes of performance appraisal, not good procedure and organization of performance appraisal, less attention of leader, less training.and so on.In chapter 4, it is shown another key point. Expressing opinions on existing problems in Performance Appraisal of Huayue Enterprise Group Company, it points out that we can improve the system and efficiency of Performance Appraisal by defining performance objectives, well doing work, improving the system of content and index.It emphasizes six concepts of Performance Appraisal of Huayue Enterprise Group Company in last part.
