The Course Of History And Enlightenment During The Politics And Democracy Construction Of The Communist Party Of China

During the past eighty years, the Communist Party of PRC has ever been struggling for the democratic rights of people. Our party started the politics and democracy construction since the times of county base area founding. The construction went through three historical periods: the times of new democratic revolution, from the found of new China to the Third plenary session of the Central Committee during the Ninth session of the Communist Party and from the session to today. This article goes forward with systematic introduction and summary based on major achievements and status quo ante during the above-mentioned politics and democracy construction. Then, the author goes further to draw major lessons and experiences from these three periods in accordance with the above. They cover the followings: the Politics and Democracy construction is the security for Chinese revolution and country construction; it must combine the Marxism-Leninism with revolutionary practice; it must mobilize the people's positive factors; it must force the democracy institutionalization and legalization; the leading of CPC is the force at core in propelling the politics and democracy construction. They are the cherishing treasures which achieved by the people and our party for the costly price and sacrifice. After these, this article takes further steps to gain enlightenment from analyzing them, which propels the socialistic course with Chinese characteristics to be in successful way. The enlightenment will play great important role on the theory directions for Chinese politics and democracy in the future. These historical enlightenment consists of the followings: NO democracy, no socialism; leading the politics and democracy construction in accordance with status quo in China; strengthening democratic sense of the public, enhancing democratic supervision; strengthening the legal institution construction, force democracy institutionalization and legalization; the leadership of our party is the key to the politics and democracy construction.
