| Currently the ecological movement for the goal of harmony between the humanbeing & nature is launched vigorously and permeated in many ways throughout theworld. The city has been changed from the pure static beautiful natural environment tothe newer and all-round ecologicalization. Constructing an ecopolis has becomehuman's common demand and embodied the direction of future city. It is not only theresults that all the nations in world change the traditional economical developing modeland strive for all world and all mankind's sustainable development for our "commonfuture", but also that mankind seeks the man & nature's symbiotic and coordination anda more ideal man's residential environment. So, researching the problems on theconstruction of ecopolis becomes one of the most important tasks of realizing the goalof it.Because of above reasons, the related problems on constructing ecopolis havebeen studied preliminarily in this paper. Firstly, the author analyses the concept, thefeature and the constructing demand of ecopolis from the angle of theory, then give aminute discussion about the theoretical bases and fundamental principles, contents andstrategies, assessment and regulation of ecopolis' construction. Lastly, Kaifeng is takenas an example in practical study.The whole paper is about forty thousand words, and it includes six parts except theconcluding remarks.Part 1: It is the preface. First the paper introduces the historical background aboutwhy to construct an ecopolis and the recent development of it, the reasons why to writethis thesis are also given, then the concept and features are given, at last theconstructing demands are given out.Part 2: In this part, the author poses three theoretical bases and six fundamentalprinciples.Part 3: This part is about the contents and strategies of ecopolis' construction. Atfirst the author advances the five fundamental contents, that is the layout of urban landuse, the construction of the urban greenland system, the construction of urban facilitiesand the engineer of controlling environmental pollution, and explained in detail, thenputs forward that the focal point of fundamental contents is environmental construction,and stresses the three links. In the end, the author poses the strategies of three steps andputs forward the two problems to be attended in the course of construction.Part 4: This part is about the assessment and regulation of ecopolis. Amongassessmental part, the author advances the contents and methods of comprehensiveassessment, and gives an index system of comprehensive assessment; in the regulationpart the author discusses the mechanism, the goal, and the approach of regulation ofecopolis.Part 5: This part is about the current state analysis and assessment of Kaifengcity's eco-system. At first the author analyzed the three subsystems-the natural system,the economical system, the social system-separatively from the qualitative angle.Among them, the natural ecosystem is stressed and the author points out the primaryeco-environmental problems, then the author assesses the Kaifeng city's ecosystemcomprehensively from quantitative angle and poses the direction of Kaifeng city'secological construction through the contrast with Shenzhen and Hongkong.Part 6: In this part the author advances the plan of constructing ecopolis inKaifeng city. It includes the constructing goal and the time arrangement, theconstructing fundamental train of thoughts and skeleton, the path and the strategies todeal with the situation, and primarily ecological engineer. |
