With the improvement of Internet technology and the swift development of e-commerce, the influence which e-commerce put on the economic field has drawn much attention from the governments and enterprises all of the world. This paper introduces the development of e-commerce in the world, discusses how e-commerce improves the management and encourages the enterprises to create new competitive advantages, and how Chinese enterprises should use e-commerce. There are four parts in this paper: The first part: trying to expound the concept and the basic characters of e-commerce; introducing the development of e-commerce in the world and why china should develop e-commerce. The second part: discussing how e-commerce improves the management of business. The third part: discussing in the time of e-commerce, how the environment of competition has changed, and for the enterprises, how to create new competitive advantage in the new environment. The fourth part: discussing for China, which model of e-commerce is better to use, and studying the implementation of e-commerce.
