A Study on The Spatial Structure of Frontier Area of Inland A Case of Dehong PrefectureABSTRACTSpatial Structure means the spatial distribution of the population and industry which reflects the results of social and economical activities of human.As one branch of Location Theory, Spatial Structure Theory developed after the World War II by the American scholar E.s.Dunn and Germany scientist E.v.Boventer. Because it researchs on the region from a large-scale perspective, (take the region as a whole) the Spatial Structure Theory is helpful for the research on the regional development, especially for the formulation of the development strategy and programme.Frontier Area of Inland , locates between two country However, for most of the Frontier Area of Inland, being far away from the economy central of the state drop they behind other regions, especially behind the coastal developed area. This essay deponding on the Spatial Structure Theory, from the perspective of spatial structure, through the research on the specific spatial characteristics of the frontier area of inland, puts forwards some suggestions for the development of frontier area of inland. The main content of this essay is as following:Firstly, the essay will introduce some backgrounds of the spatial structure theory. Secondly, in the second part of the essay, the essence of the spatial structure will be explained in details. Thirdly, deponding on the general theory of the spatial structure, the essay will analyze the special spatial structure of Frontier Area of Inland . At last , Dehong prefecture will be taken as a case to examine the practice of Spatial Structure on Frontier Area of Inland.
