Study On The Anxiety Of Ru Zhijuan In Literary Creation

As a famous female writer, Ru Zhijuan is a specific individual in the 17-year literature period, her literary creation reflecting the anxiety of surviving in the conflicts between her individual experience and the mainstream sense of society, her female self-awareness and her semi-female social status. The anxiety had lasted for the whole 17-year literature period or even longer. This article reveals the individual necessity Ru Zhijuan chose in the special period of historical upheaval and analyses her multi-level and plentiful spirit psychological process so as to explore the external and internal reasons of the anxiety. The details are expounded as follows:In the foreword, it is summarized that the historical context which produces Ru Zhijuan's unique style of writing and the interpretation viewpoint on her works in different periods. It is proposed that the anxiety in the period of Ru Zhijuan's literature creation is an inevitable result originating from her gender, character, temperament and life experiences which were deeply effected by the era. On the other hand, the anxiety is also an accidental result originating from that she can't perfectly rein the two factors, artistic individuality and political correctness required by that special time, which are conflicting with each other.In the first part, through reading and comparing Ru Zhijuan's diaries showing her personal discourses and her novels of rural themes, the conclusion can be gotten that Ru Zhijuan wanted to reduce the disparity between her complex rural diversity experience and the expression construction formed by literature and politics. At the same time, there had been strong anxiety originating from the conversion of her experience during the period converting from the petty bourgeoisie intellectual to the new socialist person.In the second part, it is summarized that Ru Zhijuan's particular style of Lily has gotten mixed assessment in different eras, which is both been praised and belittled. It is because of her strong particular style that the dissociation from the mainstream literature at that time is very obvious. All this made Ru Zhijuan feel inner unconfidence and anxiety when seriously comparing her self-investigation and the external norms.In the third part, with the help of analyzing the female factor outpoured from her works, it can be concluded that the deep reason of Ru Zhijuan's anxiety in her literary creation is originated from the contradiction between the strong assimilative power from the revolutionary group at that time and the female self-awareness.
