"Lin Lan Xiang"is a realistic novel which based on the theme of family life in the Qing Dynasty.From the visual angle of a rich and honored clan,this novel described the happiness and sadness of Geng Lang and his six wives and concubines,reflected the ancient intelligent women'spirit suffering and human tragedy. This paper mainly concentrates on the female images,and make a deep discussions on the women'new characteristics and women sense,while pay much attention on the writers'intentions.There are three chapters.By comparing"Lin Lan Xiang"whit"Jin Ping Mei"and"Gifted Scholars and Beautiful Ladies",The first chapter deals with the relationships between the three novels."Lin Lan Xiang"reveals the conditions of several women'real life, and especially makes a meaningful study on the fate of the intelligent women ,which manifesting the women tragedies in the feudal society. Therefore, The essence of"Lin Lan Xiang"is greatly different from"Jin Ping Mei"and"Gifted Scholars and Beautiful Ladies".After analysis Yan Mengqing's psychological activity,The second chapter discusses the new features of women' issues ,and reveals the deeper causes of Yan Menging's tragedy .The third chapter analyses the women sense after making a comparative studies on the female images in"Three Kingdoms","The Outlaw of The Marshes"and"Jin Ping Mei".The paper also explores the writer's mental thought ,while making a conclusion on the confessions derived from the story.
