| There are about 30 piece of paper concerned to natural disasters in pre-Qin poetries. There in imprecations, divinations and nursery rhymes represent natural disasters in the original form, parent- artistic conceptions and images of natural disasters are also involve in the Book of Songs and the Songs of Chu. This research will help us to direct realize natural disasters in poetries. On the other hand, we can also understand ideas, affects and living status of ancestors in ancient times through this research.This thesis emphasizes study for parent- artistic conceptions and images, researches and analyses the parent-titles and images of natural disasters in pre-Qin poetries by the use of mythology, science of religion, folklore studies and cultural anthropology. There are three sections in this thesis as follows:The first section is overview of natural disasters in pre-Qin poetries. In this section natural disasters described in pre-Qin poetries were classified by the kind, manifestation mode and title. History and magic background of poetries were also stated in this section. Meanwhile, brief explanation of the natural disasters of drought, flood, rain, wind, frost, earthquake, mice, birds, insects and grass were also mentioned.The second section included research of the parent-titles of natural disasters in pre-Qin poetries. Thinking of magic art and witchcraft of primitive society was introduced into research of the parent-titles and developmental trajectory of two parent-titles of combating drought and regulating rivers in pre-Qin period were described in detail."The Song of Chu? Jiuge"was used as an case to analyze the deep connotation of parent-titles of natural disasters in pre-Qin poetries through the analysis of Godhead and research of enigmatic language of Gods' blessings in the song. We point out that the parent-titles of natural disasters in pre-Qin poetries goes through the procedure from the initial state of human against disasters to the one of praying good harvest both land and population.The third section include the research of the image, to which concerned natural disasters, of pre-Qin poetries. Devil grass image and image of mice and insects disaster in pre-Qin poetries were expounded respectively. The crafty sycophant role which symbolized by the image above-mentioned left a deep impression in Chinese literary history. |
