With the further development of China's educational revolution in recent years, studies about scientific education flourish and more and more attention is paid on the scientific pre-schooling of children.Children's preconception is their explanation of the world according to the observations and understandings of their own.Though it is not as rigorous as science, or even for adults, it is their absurd ideas (similar or) opposite to science.Actually, children do summarize those illogical explanations of concepts after their serious thinking. To those who teach children, it is, to some extent, a treasure that should be cherished. Teachers will greatly improve the efficiency in teaching, if they can respect children, and make full use of those established concepts in their mind. However, according to the analysis based on earlier researches, there is still certain deficiency in the application of former experience to practice. Therefore, the writer tried to present the following contents in the research: the first one is about the analysis of children's general development and attributes in understanding of Earth; the second one concerns about summary of factors affecting the concept formation of earth in children'mind; the third one relates to feasible suggestions on science education in kindergartenFirst of all, this thesis conducts a review on relevant literature to introduce the general condition. Next, it conducts a detailed study on preconception, with kindergarten's children as subjects and"the earth"as their cognitive object. Both the literary review and researches show that children have their specific earth preconceptions, which are influenced by the outside world and become relatively stable as well as unique at certain ages.Thirdly, with the help of the writer's experience in kindergarten, this thesis conducts studies on children's preconception by working with teachers of different academic and educational levels from kindergartens of different qualities and standards.Based on these studies, it works out advice for kindergarten teachers: Admit children's wisdom ,and respect (children's) their pre-concepts of science. In the actual teaching process, educators must fully understand the child's development situation of pre-concept, focusing on children's learning initiative, to mobilize a variety of senses to participate in scientific activities , that is,"Hands-on, moving mouth, observation with eyes, brainstorming,"Teachers effectively use children's established or pre-scientific concepts, so as to ground a solid foundation for their scientific learning as well as formation of right concepts in the future.
